Wild Raspberries

Every year for the last 9 years I have been enjoying picking and eating wild raspberries that grow beyond the Flood Relief Channel that runs down the side our estate. Sheba, our dog, normally helps herself to the lower growing fruit and I pick the ones that are a couple feet off the ground. This year they have been very tasty, sweet and occasionally with a slight edge to the taste, but still lovely.

If you get the chance try some. I would advise not wearing shorts, but jeans, because of all the stinging nettles you will need to wade through. The raspberries will not last much longer, as their season is quiet short.
