Food for thought

I've always admired people with brains, particularly those with an open mind. It's the thought that counts, shows a certain taste, using the old grey matter. So choosing today's blip was a "no brainer." Or maybe not. You know how sometimes your head just feels scrambled? He certainly did. Everybody has a bad hair day now and then, and when you do, you can feel such a noodle.

OK, I'll add another par for those demanding an explanation. Regent's Street in London is closed to traffic every Sunday in July, part of an initiative to allow Londoners to reclaim their streets. The atmosphere was brilliant and this chap is part of the entertainment. He's from Barcelona and belongs to a group that specialises in performance hairdressing. They were picking people out from those hanging around and giving the selected ones a once over in the Barnet department. This chap ended up with a tea pot and a tea cup on his head. Why? Why not?

Never done this before, but we went to see the changing of the guard this morning, except they weren't ready. Perhaps they all ate something last night that didn't quite agree.

I love London, so many ambiguities, a tableau of life.
