Graduation

Today I graduated from the University of Warwick. I can confidently say that my three years here have been incredible. This is Luke, Rachel and Caroline - I've enjoyed getting to know them over the last three years.

The day started very early. As I won an award we received a lot of special attention for the day. The gaps in the day were spent in the Helen Martin Studio, where I had the chance to meet and talk to the Chancellor, Richard Lambert. Who was as nice as everyone had said he would be.
The ceremony was like nothing I've ever been to before, and luckily my mum, dad, sister, brother and grandma got to see me graduate. It was nerve racking going up a second time by myself to receive the award. The day ended with a lunch at the vice-chancellor's house in a converted barn. Highlight of the day was being escorted there in an ice cold Jaguar.

In the evening Mark and George joined us for dinner at The Gate. Lots of food and wine was consumed and I had a celebratory mojito.

The University did everything they could to make the day perfect for me. I am very grateful for all the hard work that went into the day for me - especially on top of everything else they had to organise. Also I am very much enjoying my new iPad.
