Climb every mountain.

This photo was taken from the A 835 a road that runs between Ullapool and Gairloch.It's a stunning route and round every corner you are delighted with a new scene from mountain views to fabulous sandy bays.

It was another beautiful day, although ,for me it was rather hot and was glad of the air conditioning in the car.You can't come this way and not stop off at Inverewe Gardens.The summer plants were out providing plenty of photographic opportunities.It was nice to wander under the shade of the very tall trees.

We had lunch at Aultbae hotel. I had a fishermans' lunch, like a ploughmans' but with fish instead. I'm not a mussel fan so did n't include those but had salmon , prawns and king prawns in batter very nice and again a stunning view of the bay as well. Felt like we were in the Med instead of Scotland.

Views of Loch Maree were great and we watched tiny fish in the loch and a dragonfly whizzing around.

Back home now and catching up on blip, feel like I've been away for ages :)
