Welcome to Norwich Pride House!

A bit of a hectic day. Hung my bit of the exhibition 'Pride without Prejudice' at St Margarets Church of Art this morning/early afternoon and then this evening I helped friends from Norwich Pride prepare the space in the Forum in Norwich that is to be the Pride House for the week.

I have four photos exhibited in the House, each one representing a different aspect of what I think Pride is:

- tender
- joyous
- outrageous
- political

There's going to be lots of activities going on there, and the Pride shop will be based there and the footfall is massive so NO-ONE in Norwich will be able to say that they've not heard about Norwich Pride or been invited to this wonderful party from the LGBT community for everyone.

The lips (known as The Lips) are the type of thing you see on carnival parades and are extremely heavy. They featured at Norwich Pride back in - I think - 2010 and have recently been rediscovered. They are going to have a bit of a makeover and will perhaps reappear in all their glory on the Parade on the 27th July.

In the middle of all this, Roland and I had a lovely lunch together which was really nice.
