Green, soon to be Purple

It was another beautiful summer day and you could almost see the grapes growing. We strategically placed this vine where it would get optimal light and heat, to one side of our small patio in the front yard. We have a couple of chairs on this little patio which faces west. In the later afternoon Mr CH and I enjoy the sun and a beverage before dinner. However, the grape vine has grown so much that the leaf-covered trellis shades one of the chairs. So it is first-come-first-served as to who gets the chair in the sun. Most times though, Mr CH lets me have the non-shaded chair and I happily get my 15 minutes of Vitamin D.
