The Round Rock

Sadly, this little rock is that for which my town is named. The "famous" Round Rock was a landmark on the Chisholm Trail, which was used by cowboys to drive cattle from south Texas to Kansas. It sits amidst Brushy Creek (which was the original, and in my mind, far better, name for the town) at a low water crossing and was a landmark along the lengthy cattle drive.
