A day in Cambridge

On Sunday we go to Cambridge.

After getting up, slightly disgruntled by the boyfriend who slept so deeply I did not wake him, I hurried to get ready for the day trip to Cambridge - an hour away from our downtown London sublet flat.

Meeting up with a friend of mine who was attending summer school at Cambridge was exciting and fun - having know her existence only on the Chinese version of Twitter, Weibo, and never met her in person before. Her student ID card also got us places usually tourists stand in line and pay for.

Despite all the young children part of Chinese tour groups swarming the place, Cambridge is quite a neat little town. It's unimaginable to study in building like this [photo above], coming from a university that has a parking-lot looking library. I guess the British do take their education seriously.
