Charmundi hills

I went on a spiritual tour of Mysore today, even though I'd already been to some of the places before it was definitely worth going again. I went to a Hindu temple, an ashram, a jain temple and a mosque (I wasn't allowed in because it's Ramadan, although we did get fresh samosas- delicious!)
Today's blip is taken from the top of the hill. The story goes that Mahishasura (pictured) used to rule over Mysore, until he was defeated by the goddess Charmundeswari, and one of the temples at the top of the hill is dedicated to her.
