Glucksberg Castle

Glucksberg is a German town on the border with Denmark, and has sometimes been Danish. It has a romantic castle in the middle of a lake, once a favourite residence of the Danish royal family, now a very interesting museum. The children and the servants' quarters were in the attic, while there is a horrible dungeon and torture chamber in the basement! In between, lots of grand rooms....
We stayed in a seaside campsite, and I swam in the sea next morning, before we continued to Denmark.
