Hopscotch

Orla and I had a game of hopscotch this afternoon, although in typical Jackson style we spent more time discussing the rules than actually playing the game. Here's a video.

I took Orla to her first swimming lesson this morning in the Craigalbert Centre just up the road. There is a viewing gallery for Mums and Dads that the kids can't see so there's which I think does have an effect. She was very quickly swimming with just a noodle for support which she would never do with me. She wasnt keen on going underwater but with four more lessons this week on this intensive beginners course I'm confident she'll do it by the end. She said it was "better than a good treat" so she clearly loved it.
