Mont Blanc Massif

Hills of forest green where the mountains touch the sky...

To get this shot, I had to walk for less than two minutes from where we're camped.

Early morning sunshine lights up the snow and ice on Mont Blanc and her satellite peaks, against a crystal sky. Lake as still as a millpond. Clouds form above the mountains, sometimes in only a few seconds, as the dew burns off from the fields and forests.

Brilliant. Just brilliant.
