Students helping Canterbury Food Bank

We are fortunate to have four computing students from Brazil, studying at the University of Kent, who are working with Food Bank to set up a database to help manage the flow of food in and out of the warehouse and to provide the kind of reporting that we need as we become a registered charity. I meet with them regularly and today we visited the warehouse to go through the mechanics of packing a food parcel.

Canterbury Food Bank has given out just under 450 food parcels since the end of January.
