Bee-have

Our beautiful little poached egg plants attracting the attention of those busy bees.

We went to see The World's End tonight at Uckfield Cinema with some of the boys. We had a drink at the Maiden's Head before hand & chatted away for a while, particularly about Gilroy's acting past, present & future - part's in Les Mis, The Muppets 2 & who knows what else - he's gonna be a star!

Simon Pegg & Nick Frost's 3rd film in their trilogy of action-comedy-fest's was good, quite funny, some great gags, but overall I think it lacked the slick, quick pace Hot Fuzz & Shaun of the Dead captured so well. The special effects, although good, seemed to water down what should have been a punchy, classically-British script.

Nevertheless, we had a fun evening & of course another hot night's sleep. Give us a breeze, anything!
