Working the willoughby.

Just a note, in last nights blip - the thing that I described as a 'cartraption' is actually called a trommel.
This is PJ working the willoughby for the sake of the picture. There are 2 different sized sieves that are shaken up and down in the water. The larger sized sieve is on the top, and when they are shaken, the smaller stones & hopefully sapphires, go through to the smaller one. Each of these trays are taken out of the willoughby, and then flipped over onto a flat surface (it's like flipping a sponge out of its tin). Then if there are any sapphires, they should be in the middle. Sometimes they look much like broken glass, without the sharp edges.
Only found a one worth cutting today, and a few small (tiny) pieces again.
