Out Loud & Proud project

About 18 months ago Norwich-based Antonella Muscat invited people to have their photos taken and provide a short statement about themselves for a project called 'Out Loud and Proud'.

People all over the world were having their photos taken, the images were then being made into large (about the size that would fit on the side of a bus shelter) posters and displayed in public spaces.

Today, on Day 3 of the Pride5 Festival which focused on 'Identity', the 9 images of people in Norwich were put up on the windows of a vacant unit in Castle Mall shopping centre, smack opposite the NHS walk-in treatment centre. The footfall here is pretty high so these fabulous images will be seen by loads of people.

Here is Kim, one of the Norwich Pride Collective, with her portrait.
