Pétanque

A gourmet BBQ with courgette flower fritters stuffed with feta and spinach , deep fried sage leaves, potato salad and bean burgers, followed by a birthday cake and a game of boules played with a vintage pétanque set bought at a vide-grenier in Normandy. A perfect evening... before the rain started.
