At low tide the beach is occupied by the almost exclusively all male hunter/gather club who, armed with either shop bought or home manufactured 'pumps' or a spade and bucket seek out and extract the lugworm that will be used to bait the hooks to catch the fish (cod). These two were planning ahead.
