Bumbling Bee

Shot this after taking snap of my Year 2 son going to his end of year disco and the bees were going crazy on these blooms - so much so that I was able to get closer (hand held) without them being spooked straight away and get focused eyes for a change without a tripod.
Very happy with the quick shots although I would have like to have it set up so that I would get more of the rear of the body in focus including the wings but I can't have it all I suppose.
So tired that I almost left it till tomorrow but thought that I would try to get it in on the day!!? Happy Blipping Thursday - I need to get some lightning!
