All ready!

Here in Rayol Canadel, the commune and the guys who put out the sun loungers have always been meticulously careful with their preparation for the coming day.

The beach is first cleaned with a tractor, and then again by hand with a rake. If you look carefully, you will see one man just finishing the last row of loungers.

By 10.00am, the beach will be buzzing!

Away from the beach, bins are emptied every day and there is an army of workers who clean the roads and pavements. All finished by 7.00am.

I am trying hard to keep up with your great comments. Yesterday's were really quite exceptional with a lot of mischievous humour!

Although it is a simple composition, it's well worth a look LARGE.

Weather: Similar to home but much less humid with a gentle sea breeze, perfect!
