From Gladiators to Carmen

The Arena of Nîmes is a Roman amphitheatre built by Roman engineers to host games. Its not the largest but the best preserved Roman amphitheater and it's now used for bullfighting events, concerts and other public events.
Surprisingly, the accoustic is pretty good for a large open space, and performances of the operas are always popular and sold out.
