Globe Artichoke ...

... Flower! To get a sense of scale, this flower is the size of a fist and loved by the bees and other insects. The stems are a lot shorter this summer and I'm able to get a proper photo. I have applied a filter to this blip to enhance the colour.

It was raining when I got up this morning and my dear friend MrsT said it had rained heavily during the night, I didn't hear it! The day stayed cloudy and grey, didn't fancy going for a walk because I thought it might rain - it did clear up by evening but still breezy.

I have spent most of today experimenting with different designs of friendship bracelets and other jewellery.
