Sanderlings

The sun came out to play early this afternoon making today’s beach walk all the more enjoyable, the skies had been overcast for most of the morning.

Always a delight to see the sanderlings along the shoreline and this one was digging deep in the hope of finding marine worms, crustaceans or molluscs it could find.
