Day..

or Hemerocallis. The name comes from Greek Hemera = day and kalos = beautiful. These lily flowers last just one day but usually have multiple heads which open day after day. I love the colour of this one that grows in my garden and the fact it looks like three flowers one inside the other. A real explosion of colour.

Perhaps the last hot day here as tomorrow we are forecast rain which we badly need for the garden along with thunder storms which we almost missed out on the other day.
