We were thrilled with the feedback today and the sales, even though we are not fully ready.
The "original proper" Pontefract Cakes have been a firm favourite.

We took the decision that the shop will stock as much of the old authentic stock as we can source rather than the cheaper versions sold in other shops. They are slightly more expensive but its a strategy we all agree on and it seems to have been the right one.
