House plant

But not just any house plant. I brought this plant back from the Ivory Coast in Africa in about 1978. Back then it was two sticks wrapped in a damp towel.

Luckily no one stopped me or asked to look in my bag.

I rooted it in some water and then potted it up, and here it is now some 35 years (!) later still going strong. It seems to love this position where it gets enough light and a bit of sun at the end of the day when it is not hot enough to burn the leaves
