One of the stormiest nights I have experienced for years and the waves were going over the harbour walls two hours before high tide!! Amazing. I managed to prize myself out of the house by 11.30 ..didn’t really want to leave and if was quite late which meant a lot of the journey would be in the dark. Glad that there was no rain after it became dark. Good run home and happy to find my eldest at home holding the fort as my husband is up in London at a work conference tonight.
