Whack-a-Fletch

Wine tasting this evening, and time for 6 wines with a bad reputation. Some of those bad reps will remain (for me anyway, I'm just not a sherry fan) but there were some positives in there too. Then there was the extra bonus 7th taster that was the older vintage of the 5th glass - very smooth. Then there was the out-of-the-blue Riesling tasting to end on, 7 of them to get through. It's a tough life. By the time we got out of there and had some food (and more wine),then moved on to the Viking Longboat at Summerhall things were starting to get heated...watch out for that oar. Maybe he deserved it, I'm not sure what was said.
