Bee-haven

I know, I know. EVERYONE takes pictures of bees. Anyway, my excuse is that in my front garden is a huge lavender bush and the bees love it. Today, the bush was covered in them. Trying to wait till they stay still enough to take a snap is actually quite difficult. This was the best of 74 photos I took. (still not 100% happy with it but the depth of field is good I think.) In my back garden is a bumblebee nest, so while everyone has probably taken a "bee shot" at least once in their life, my excuse is they live on my property so its my right. So there!
