Spent some more time with the Peacock butterflies around the garden buddleia - the more I looked at the wing patterns, the more abstract the images looked...

Suspect this will the last chance to watch these butterflies for this season - the buddleia is nearly past, and the weather forecast over the next few days looks pretty wet.

And many thanks for the profusion of comments yesterday - I think I will be carrying on blipping for a while yet.
