The pond at Aden

It was a delight to be in Aden Park today with the grandchildren. The trees were looking superb in the sunshine, and the play area was fairly quiet despite the good weather. We walked there from home, had a picnic and a play, then another stroll. The water in the pond was very low after the last few weeks of warm weather but this didn't seem to bother the ducks and the gulls that live there. I had hoped for good weather today while we were looking after the wee ones and we certainly got it. Tomorrow though looks to be another story!
