Blanquette de veau

Perhaps not everyone's cup tea in the UK, veal. I never used to eat it when I lived there and refused to in my first few years living in France. Then my brother in law got married and at his reception, the menu was foie gras for the starter followed by veal. So it was either I sat there and ate nothing, or I tried both.
I happily like both now and Mme MB's Blanquette was excellent.

Vegging out today. We've just watched the last Gavin & Stacey Christmas Special. Which amazingly was back in 2019. As we got fibre and a VPN around 10 years ago, I never saw the first series when they were broadcast.
