New Airfryer
I'm on my own today. Tuesday is sort of my day off, but I've not done a great deal of useful things apart from the usual chores. So I thought I'd give the new airfryer a try. Nothing too elaborate, a couple of jacket spuds with cheese and a frozen piece of battered fish. The latter wasn't available in France when I first moved here. This one from the local Lidl isn't too bad.
The airfryer did a good job though. Potato cooked just right and nice and crispy. The fish was crispy too and not over cooked, like it can be from the main oven.
The whole thing took 35 minutes. Jacket spuds can take around 10 minutes longer in the oven. The airfryer is smaller in area and uses less electricity.
Once we've worked out the different functions, we can start being more adventurous.
I was toying with the idea of going for a walk, but it keeps raining (any excuse). Think I'll start writing the Christmas cards while watching an episode of Inspector Gently on Netflix.
