King Tide...

... with a full moon is worthy of watching. The protuberance of rock - known as Lawyers Head - was being pounded by some very large waves and it was not full tide at this stage. Later in the early evening the waves were washing over the esplanade in St.Clair ( behind me as this image was taken). Mother was having coffee in St.Clair with one of her grandsons and there was some concern over whether his car was being drenched...it was just out of reach.
