Pellucid tranquility

The best way to arrive in Venice is by boat so it's said.
After arriving by boat, I wholeheartedly agree.

A guidebook mentioned that the light in Venice is 'pellucid'. I love that word, it describes it perfectly.

Great day spent with a fellow photographer, walking, talking, laughing and taking loads of shots.
