We had heavy storms and rain yesterday evening and overnight and the lawn seems very grateful for it too. Sunny again this morning, although not quite as hot, and there are more clouds in the sky. I had a little drive out to Stoneleigh this morning and captured some more of the old cottage there. These are some of the old estate workers cottages on the main street. Their doors and gardens are elevated above street level and they have very pretty gardens. I thought they would make a lovely jigsaw puzzle...
