Tools down, oars up.

A full day grafting the jobs + then in the late afternoon sun we were free to hit the Baltic. My Ma insisted that we wear life jackets, as it was quite clear that we had no idea what we were doing as we slunk into the neighbour's kayak. Existing at the obedient minors that we are, on our backs those life preservers did stay as we set forth into the stormy sea. There was only half an hour or so, of mild to strong quibbling as we found our sea rhythm ~ then we were away and out into the great Archipelago. Plenty an opportunity to work up a sweat for a freezing swim and an appetite for an evening of great eating and drinking. Good living.
