Gooseberries

Most of today was spent hedge cutting again - completing the length either side of the entrance. As well as privet and beech, it contains a prickly mix of holly and hawthorn, and an old gooseberry bush that never gets a proper chance to grow but still manages to deliver a handful of fruit each year. Hot and exhausting work on another fine summer day.
