Gatekeeper

A lovely walk in the 'Wild Park' earlier today. There were more of these butterflies than I could possible count dancing around the wild flowers. The warm weather appears to have caused them to get a bit frisky and there were lots of pairs doing their special summer dance.
I would have preferred to take such a shot with the 5D and a long lens but it's too heavy for a seriously long walk and hill climb. I am really pleased I took the G12 instead otherwise I would have missed this.
