happy birthday AMERICA.

stuck with Kristy's family to celebrate my freedom.
we returned to the sight of the paddleboating trip to watch the fireworks over the lake.

It was a gorgeous evening.
I was so patriotic that I got myself a hot dog AND an ice cream cone!

After we got home, Kristy and I celebrated with sparklers.
but the 4th seems like one of those holidays that always lets you down.
especially because my family doesn't believe in BBQ's or parties in general.

however, this year was quite nice.

thanks to all the founding fathers. thanks to all our men overseas fighting for my freedom so i have leisure time so i can even have a blipfoto account (whew!).
