Motel La Roma.....

Well, we're half way to Cape Breton now.... this is the very crappy little cabin we ended up on the 2nd night of our 3 day trip from Ontario to Cape Breton Island.
We pulled in here around 11.30pm, having been on the road from 10am - took much longer this time, mainly cos we ended up skirting Montreal, with lots of construction and at rush hour.... we stayed pretty calm. the only tense moments came after we left a highway pit stop for food (around 10pm).... and realised we were very low on fuel.... the long and very winding road lay ahead, dark and late.... we did a lot of positive imagining... well i did, don't really know what Terry was doing, but we did manage to pull into a fuel station, just as it was closing and got some relief!
this place was pretty scummy...... the sink leaked so there was quite a bit of water on the floor, but with a couple of glasses of wine, and laying down at last... we managed to sleep ok!
next stop.... Cape Breton and Big hill!
