Day Thirteen: Variety Act

Today we headed off into Verona to explore the marble paved streets and find which stores had the best air conditioning. Along the way we were entertained by street artists performing inexplicable balancing acts and some acts that were simply inexplicable. Took in a couple of cultural sights such as Dante Alighieri.

After dinner myself and one of the children braved the continuing heat (it's still 33 degrees at 9:00 pm) to explore Sirmione and admire the view of the mountains and the lake....very tempted to go for a swim...but that's for tomorrow.
