Nature Diary...Pheasant Berry

A lovely calm, fairly mild day.
More Christmas shopping done, helped along with a latte coffee for me and his usual black coffee for SB. The gifts we selected today were pretty down-to-earth with nothing extraordinary or outstanding, but things you can't go wrong with. The special gifts were bought a little bit earlier after a crafty little bit of research and innocent comments like:  "Who could love that?"  And notes made that the response was "I think It's really fascinating. Look at the beautiful colours running through it"..etc... Later, a secret return to the gem shop, and a purchase made for PB's admired item...
And on we go :-)
