Sunset #4

Met up with my friend and fellow blipper Charlie17 at Aden Park in Mintlaw this afternoon.

Our first stop was at the squirrels’ nesting area except there weren’t any there for us to photograph.  Couldn’t believe it as I was in the company of Aden’s resident squirrel whisperer whose trick of scattering nuts all around to entice them out of their dreys failed on this occasion.

We retired to the café to warm up with coffees and scones and a catch up. We are in regular contact but there’s aye things happening in the world that we have to sort out so there were lengthy blethers. 

As the sun began to set we drove over to Pitfour Lake hoping to catch reflections on the water. Alas we were thwarted again this time by the clouds.  We had a wee wander and both of us managed to get our blips in a wooded area where the orange glow was on show.
