I was thinking tonight while up on Sunset Ridge that I may not be able to capture an image tonight. That was my first mistake, thinking! The clouds and the sun were not cooperating. The sky was looking bland and nondescript tonight, just not happening. Then at the last second before I packed it in and went home, the horizon came alive. This sunset was so tenuous that it lasted for less than 30 seconds. But that was long enough to be able to photograph these shapes and colors, with a little help from my imagination.
