Peek a boo

This morning I decided to go for a walk up Callander Crags so I set off nice and early as the forecast was for rain later on. Unfortunately the later on was only half an hour away and I got absolutely soaked through and had to turn back.

Before the rain came on I saw some squirrels jumping from one tree to another, high up in the forest and this young buck ran across the path in front of me. He stopped to watch me behind some grasses, spoiling what could have been a really good view of him.
