Couldn't Resist ...

We made a trip through the west part of Parc National du Mercantour. A very impressive nature of high Alpes and steep valleys. Some parts of the Gorges de Daluis made me think of the Giant's Causeway in Northern Ireland.

To my regret I can't show you pictures of it. The light on these heights was so hard during the time we were there the iPhone produced almost white pictures ... :(

On the way back we passed Annot. A beautiful small town. And although it was already at the end of the afternoon, the temperature still was over 30°C. The streets were left. But the light was beautiful now. I couldn't resist this view on the old architecture in the small streets. Hope you like it ... ;

Weather report: beautiful but hot! The temperature in the middle of the day was 38°C. At the horizon in the west appear dark clouds ...
