Mrs Woodman is looking at a photo album with a difference, for in the Woodman family history there were a famous (or should that be infamous?) Mr and Mrs Woodman, who used to pose for Man Ray in the late 1940s. Their ancestors had rather more anatomically accurate figures, and they were from a darker wood. Such were their exploits in front of Man Ray's camera that they were disowned by parts of the Woodman family, who were ashamed of them. Even now they get asked if Mr Woodman treats Mrs Woodman in the same way - they always decline to comment.

While she is looking at the photos Mr Woodman (her diamond geezer) joins her and becomes quite continental according to the song, since a kiss on the hand is quite continental.

Mrs Woodman did want to re-enact "that" Marilyn Monroe photo with her skirt blowing up, but there were no suitable sources of the draught around (or at least that's my excuse for not doing it!)
