She's a good old girl

This is Dixie Chick, my Chesapeake Bay Retriever. She is 13 1/2 years old, a ripe old age for a big (100 lb.) dog. She has lumps and bumps and skin tags and is getting gray, but I think she is the most beautiful dog in the world. She is so smart, we call her the CIA agent. She is a certified therapy dog, and I have brought her to the library where kids read her stories in the "Read to the Dogs" program - it helps beginning readers gain confidence. She is an all-around champ.
