What the ...???

We came from our few days away to find the house looking as though a bomb had hit it - I've never seen so much dust in all my life! The builders hadn't made as much progress as they'd hoped, either, which left us wondering what had been going on.

It turns out that, not only did the specialist welder that our builder employed to weld the steel joist let them down by not turning up on the agreed date, he also managed to put his foot through our kitchen ceiling! Our builders spent most of Saturday repairing the damage and clearing up the mess!

Still, Younger Son's bedroom is really starting to take shape - it's twice as big as it used to be!
